Culture, color
and incredible food

Mexico City surprised us in all the best ways — historic streets, modern art, incredible food, and unforgettable experiences. Every corner feels alive, whether you're with a partner or a group of friends.

The absolute highlight? A sunrise hot air balloon ride over the pyramids of Teotihuacán — pure magic. CDMX is affordable, diverse, and full of energy.

Drifting over the pyramids of Teotihuacán at sunrise is one of those travel moments that stays with you forever. And then you land and the tacos are waiting — what more could you want?— My honest take

The 5-day plan

How I spent my days

Four to five days covers the historic center, the balloon ride and pyramids, Coyoacán, and the city's endless food.

Day1

Arrival & Roma Norte

Checked into a boutique stay in leafy Roma Norte. Walked the tree-lined streets, grabbed tacos from a corner stand, and ended with cocktails at a rooftop bar.

Day2

Historic center & street eats

The Zócalo, the Cathedral, and the Palacio de Bellas Artes, plus a stroll through Alameda Central. Churros at El Moro and a mezcal tasting to finish.

Day3

Sunrise balloon & Teotihuacán

An early start for a once-in-a-lifetime balloon ride over the pyramids. After landing, explored the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon on foot, with lunch nearby.
